I can open your eyes to a war waged in The Caucasus that you've never heard of.
As an Armenian, it was heartbreaking and worrying to witness the 40-day war between Armenia and Azerbaijan go unnoticed by the international community. I needed to do something to bring attention to the war.
I published Tears of Trauma in Voices - The Journal of New York Folklore, explaining the conflict, its history, and why Armenians across the world were paying close attention. The scenes playing out across our screens were reminiscent of the tales told to us by our great-grandparents, survivors of the Armenian Genocide.
